By accessing L around the world (lpelomundo.com.br), you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, we recommend that you do not use the site.
About the site
L around the world is an independent project run by Paloma Macetko, bringing together information and opinion about the L movement and the struggle between the left and the far right.
The site is not an official channel of any government, party or campaign.
Content, sources and corrections
The comparison combines verifiable facts, always with the source shown, and a declared political stance. Opinion pieces reflect the author's views.
If you spot incorrect information, send the correction through the contact page, ideally with a source. Every valid correction is published.
News selected with artificial intelligence
News items are gathered daily with the help of artificial intelligence and are automatically checked before being published. For each news item, the site shows only:
- the story's original headline;
- its own summary, in Portuguese, English and Spanish;
- the cover image, reproduced only to identify the story;
- the link to the original story on the outlet's website.
Rights to the stories belong to the respective outlets. Rights holders may request the removal of any content through the contact page, and requests are handled as a priority.
Videos and photos
Videos are embedded from Instagram and belong to whoever posted them. To request the removal of a video, use the contact page.
The site's photos are freely licensed (public domain or Creative Commons), always with the credit and licence shown next to the image.
Use of the content
You may share and quote the site's texts as long as you mention L around the world and include a link to the page. Commercial use of the content or the visual identity requires prior permission.
Prohibited conduct
When using the site, you agree not to:
- send messages containing hate, threats or harassment;
- use the form for spam or advertising;
- impersonate another person or institution;
- try to break into, overload or bypass the site's security.
Liability
The site strives to keep information accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee it is error-free or that the service will always be available. L around the world is not responsible for the content of external sites it links to.
Changes
These Terms may be updated at any time. The version published on this page is always the one in force.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
